Privacy Policy

In short: Anatomía 101 does not collect personal data. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics or tracking tools, and it doesn’t connect to any servers of our own. Whatever you add to the app (photos, PDFs, voice notes, notes, favorites and progress) is stored only on your phone.
Who is responsible
The Anatomía 101 app is published by START NODE, S.A., with registered address at Calle D, El Cangrejo, Bella Vista, Edificio Clarion Victoria, ground floor, Panama City, Republic of Panama. If you have any questions about this policy, write to us at hello@startnode.com.
What data the app uses and where it stays
The app runs entirely on your device, even offline. Within its own storage space on your phone, it saves:
- Your study material: the photos, PDFs, voice notes and notes you choose to add, along with the captions you give them and the structure or album you attached them to.
- Your preferences and progress: favorites, the structures you’ve already opened, the figure you chose (male or female) and whether you’ve already seen the welcome screen.
None of this is sent to us or to third parties. We don’t see it, we don’t analyze it and we don’t share it.
If you have iPhone backups turned on (in iCloud or on a computer), this data may be included in them, just like any other app’s data. Those backups are managed by Apple according to your settings, not by us.
Phone permissions
The app asks for permissions only when you use the feature that needs them, and you can deny or change them at any time in Settings › Anatomía 101:
- Camera: to photograph your study material from within the app. The photo is saved inside the app, not in your camera roll.
- Photos: when you pick photos from your camera roll, the app uses the system picker, which gives the app only the photos you choose (it has no access to the rest of your photo library). A copy is saved inside the app.
- Microphone: to record voice notes. It only records while you have the recorder open.
- Files: to choose a PDF using the system file picker.
Sharing
The app only shares something when you ask it to: for example, when you tap the open/share button on a PDF, which opens the system share sheet and lets you choose which app to use.
How to delete your data
You can delete any photo, PDF, recording or note from the gallery (open it and tap the trash can, or press and hold it), and delete an entire album from the My material screen (Mi material). If you uninstall the app, the system deletes everything it stored on your phone.
Children
Anatomía 101 is an educational anatomy tool. It doesn’t ask for or collect data from anyone, including minors.
This website
This site doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising pixels. Like any website, the server that hosts it may log technical data about each visit (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and to keep it running. We don’t use that data to identify you or for advertising.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts using data in a different way (for example, if it someday offers accounts or purchases), we will update this page before that change reaches the app, and the date above will reflect it.
